About the App
Tikiri keeps it simple. Flip through flashcards, practice words, and make Sinhala part of your everyday routine. No account needed, no internet required, just you and the words.
Whether you're a parent introducing your child to the language, or someone who wants a quick way to review vocabulary, Tikiri gives you a clean, distraction-free space to practice.
A Note from the Developer
I built Tikiri for my two-year-old son. I wanted him to grow up hearing and recognising Sinhala words, and I couldn't find a simple flashcard app that fit what we needed, so I made one.
It started as something personal, but I figured other families might find it useful too. If it helps even one other kid grow up with a connection to the language, that's more than enough for me.

Disclaimer
Tikiri is a vocabulary practice tool, not a language course.
It will not teach you grammar, sentence structure, or how to hold a conversation in Sinhala. What it will do is help you and your child practice recognising and remembering words through repetition.
Think of it as a set of digital flashcards, a helpful companion to learning, not a replacement for it.
