Overview

Tikiri ("the App") is a flashcard application for iOS developed by a single independent developer. I am committed to protecting your privacy, especially the privacy of children. This policy explains what data the App collects — and what it does not.

Information I Collect

I do not collect any personal information.

Tikiri does not:

  • Require you to create an account or sign in

  • Collect your name, email address, or any other personal information

  • Use advertising or tracking services

  • Access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or any other device features beyond local storage

All flashcard data you create is stored only on your device using local storage. It never leaves your device and is not accessible to me.

Analytics Data

Tikiri uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data. This may include:

  • App open and session events

  • General device information (device type, OS version)

  • Crash reports

This data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify you personally. It is used solely to improve app performance and user experience. Firebase is operated by Google LLC. You can learn more about how Google handles this data at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Children's Privacy

Tikiri is designed for users of all ages, including children under 13. I do not collect personal information from any user. The anonymous analytics data collected via Firebase does not include any personally identifiable information. This app is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). I encourage parents and guardians to review this policy and reach out with any questions.

Data Storage and Security

All app data (your flashcards and settings) is stored locally on your iOS device. I have no access to this data. If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.

Third-Party Services

Tikiri uses Google Firebase Analytics. No other third-party services, SDKs, or APIs are used that collect user data.

Changes to This Policy

If I update this policy, I will post the new version here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
